PAN-OS is the operating system for Palo Alto Networks firewalls. It was affected by CVE-2026-0257, an authentication bypass vulnerability in its portal and gateway components. The flaw allowed unauthenticated attackers to establish VPN sessions and was exploited by Qilin ransomware affiliates.
