Weee!, a North American-based Asian and Hispanic food delivery service, recently experienced a data breach that exposed the personal information of 1.1 million customers. The breach was announced on Monday by a hacker known as IntelBroker on the Breached hacking and data breach forum. The stolen data includes customers' first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, device type, order notes, and other data used by the delivery platform. Weee! has confirmed the breach and stated that no customer payment information was exposed as they do not store such data in their databases. The company has notified all customers of the issue and will be notifying those whose information was exposed individually. To check if your information was exposed, you can search for your email address on Have I Been Pwned once the data is added. Existing members of the notification service will be notified of the breach via email.
