Guardz, a Tel Aviv-based startup, has announced a successful $10 million seed funding round and the launch of its cybersecurity-as-a-service offering for small and medium-size businesses. The product integrates tightly with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, automatically enrolling user accounts upon activation. It monitors risk posture, performs threat detection, and offers one-click remediation for some threats. Guardz provides email scanning, endpoint security, identity management, browser filtering, cloud application security, and awareness and training programs. The product is managed from a central dashboard, and is suitable for SMB use due to its pricing - there is a free Essentials tier and a paid tier that costs $9 per month, per user. The paid tier also qualifies users to buy cyberinsurance from the company. The seed funding round will allow Guardz to expand its feature set, further develop its cyberinsurance offering, and grow its distribution channels. Hackers are targeting small businesses, and Guardz's complete solution helps companies with lean IT, as well as MSPs, to combat these rising threats. Most available cybersecurity solutions are too cumbersome to deploy, too complicated to understand and maintain, and too costly to obtain, making small businesses prime targets for malicious cyber actors.
