Over the next few weeks, Microsoft will start rolling out more Windows 11 experiences for all Windows 11 Insiders, such as a phone companion for the Start menu, AI actions in File Explorer that will help edit images and summarize content, and a new write function in Notepad that will allow creating text from a prompt. These include Photos Relight for adding dynamic lighting controls to pictures, Paint Sticker Generator for creating digital stickers via text prompts, Paint Object Select to select and instantly edit specific elements on the canvas, and Snipping Tool Perfect Screenshot for adjusting the capture area and removing the need for post-capture cropping. Redmond is also improving Windows search and adding more Click to Do text and image actions, such as Schedule a meeting with Teams, Send a message with Teams, Ask M365 Copilot, Convert to table with Excel, and Draft with Copilot in Word. In March, Microsoft announced that it started testing a Snipping Tool "Draw & Hold" feature that helps draw perfect shapes and an AI-powered text summarization feature in Notepad. Today, Microsoft announced new Windows experiences for Copilot+ PCs, including AI agents that will make changing settings on your Windows computer easier. This experience will only be available for English speakers first and will start rolling out to Windows Insiders on Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ PCs and later to those using AMD- and Intel-powered devices. Snipping Tool is also getting some new capture tools, which will help extract text directly from images and pick color values from any element on the screen.
